Things dealers ask
Is there a contract?
No. You pay monthly and can cancel any time from your billing page. Your subscription runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Point your domain at us and your website appears there, with a secure https connection set up for you. If you don't have a domain yet, your site works straight away on a Motorlane Hub address.
Do I have to be VAT registered?
No. If you're not VAT registered your invoices simply don't show VAT. If you are, the hub handles the margin scheme and standard-rated sales for you.
Can I keep advertising on other sites?
Yes. We never restrict where you list. Your motorlane.uk listings are free on top of whatever else you do.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It's yours. Your domain stays yours and we'll help you move it, and we'll export your stock and records on request. There's no exit fee.
How do number plate lookups work?
Type the plate and we fill in the details the DVSA holds, such as make, model, colour, fuel and MOT expiry. You check them, add the rest and save.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, a secure payment company used by millions of businesses. You get a receipt every month and can change your card or cancel from your billing page.
